La integración de la inteligencia artificial en la docencia universitaria: Implicaciones económicas, pedagógicas y éticas

Abstract

Este artículo examina la integración de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en la docencia universitaria desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria, enfatizando sus impactos económicos en la productividad laboral, la equidad en el mercado de trabajo y la transformación de roles docentes. Basado en una revisión exhaustiva de literatura y reflexiones teóricas, se analiza la conceptualización de la IA como sistemas sociotécnicos híbridos, y desafíos como la autonomía, creatividad, epistemología y el debilitamiento del pensamiento crítico. Se abordan paradojas de productividad, dimensiones éticas y de gobernanza, la producción de contenidos educativos, el apoyo docente y sus consecuencias a largo plazo en el mercado laboral, así como el debate de la tecnología y los Derechos Humanos. Los hallazgos sugieren que, aunque la IA ofrece oportunidades para lograr una mayor eficiencia (hasta un 40% de reducción en tareas administrativas), su adopción poco meditada puede provocar desigualdades laborales y cognitivas. Se proponen recomendaciones en el ámbito de las políticas institucionales que prioricen la mejora de las capacidades humanas, fomentando un mercado laboral educativo resiliente y equitativo, con énfasis en una adopción tecnológica equilibrada.
